Greetings Belfast Creative Coalition (BCC) Members and beyond!

BCC has been working hard to coordinate and promote arts-based talent and events as a vital sector of strategic community building and development.  Our mission to cultivate arts and culture is succeeding in attracting people and businesses to the Belfast area.

How? Besides our two keystone programs, Belfast Fourth Friday Artwalks and Cultivate: Belfast Area Farm and Arts Trail and Fall Tour, our website is the BCC workhorse that attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year as they Google “Things To Do” in Maine and Belfast.

From the outset of BCC’s endeavors, its path began as a free service, supported by the Maine Arts Commission and the City of Belfast, to all community creatives but envisioned its future to include a membership-supported organization.  This year has been a big year for us. BCC stands as an independent nonprofit organization whose impact is strongest as a coalition of committed stakeholders. We aim to show our collective impact as we carve out new trails for others to join us while we continue to “grow the good life” through arts and culture opportunity for all.

Now, upward growth and the future sustainability of BCC require membership commitment from the community it serves. Membership participation is administrative muscle, necessary for the volume of events, workshops, openings and listings we receive weekly. Are you a member of the coalition?

Not sure if you’re a member? Give us a call or send along an email at belfastcreativecolation@gmail.org . We’ll be happy to take a look for you and answer any questions as we head into our fourth year of community service.

Our Best,

Belfast Creative Coalition’s Board and StaffBCC Be Inspired
