Belfast Creative Coalition (BCC) says good-bye to executive director Kimberly Callas. Callas will be taking a tenure-tract position at Monmouth University, New Jersey, leading their sculpture department starting this fall.

“When Kimberly came on board as BCC’s first director in 2012, we knew she would quickly build a strong foundation, and she has indeed. In the past four years we’ve established and honed some great programs for folks to learn more about Waldo County’s rich arts and cultural offerings, such as the online arts and culture directory and events calendar at: belfastcreativecoalition.org, the nationally recognized Cultivate: Belfast Area Farm and Art Trail and Fall Tour, coordinated the lively Belfast Art Walks, led Calendar Sync meetings for event planners and this year taking on a creative economy study of Waldo County. We are thrilled for Kimberly’s personal success in her next adventure, and wish her all the best. BCC has some very exciting possibilities coming right up, so we are eager to find someone with the energy, creativity and vision to keep the organization growing.” – Martha Piscuskas, Co-Director, Waterfall Arts, BCC Board President.

Callas will be staying on until August 1st while the BCC board seeks a new executive director. For information on how to apply visit: http://belfastcreativecoalition.org/belfast-creative-coalition-seeks-part-time-executive-director/
