Geneva Bielenberg, Summer 2015 Intern

Smaller Genevia BlogWe are lucky enough to invite Geneva Bielenberg as BCC’s 2015 summer intern! Currently studying Fine Art at Ithaca College in upstate NY, you will see Geneva at our Fourth Friday ArtWalk table and other summer outreach events in Belfast. She will begin her third year at Ithaca College this fall and finds inspiration in examining the humor behind normality and convention.  Her two favorite artists include pop artist and social activist Keith Haring and Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei. She was attracted to the BCC internship because of it’s creative community oriented focus and it’s location in her hometown of Belfast. She will be a tremendous help in uploading ongoing information to the website during these summer months and we are glad to have her investing her time and talent into Belfast Creative Coalition.
