Maine Farmland Trust (MFT) seeks to fill the following professional positions:

LANDS PROJECT MANAGERS (2), SOUTHERN MAINE (Full-Time): Maine Farmland Trust (MFT) is seeking two talented individuals to develop, cultivate, and complete farmland protection projects in York and Cumberland counties. MFT Lands Project Managers engage in negotiating donations of conservation easements, purchasing conservation easements, and purchasing farm properties (to be protected and resold to farmers). Managers are also involved in prospecting for and generating land protection projects. (See Job Description.) The Southern Maine Lands Project Managers will be based out of MFT’s new Southern Maine office (location TBD). Occasional travel to MFT’s Belfast office will be required.

LANDS PROJECT MANAGER, MID-COAST (Full-Time): Maine Farmland Trust (MFT) is seeking a talented individual to develop, cultivate, and complete farmland protection projects. MFT’s Lands Project Managers engage in negotiating donations of conservation easements, purchasing conservation easements, and purchasing farm properties (to be protected and resold to farmers). Managers are also involved in prospecting for and generating land protection projects. (See Job Description.) This position will be based at MFT’s Unity office, with frequent travel to the main office in Belfast.

Depending on the candidate’s availability and skills, this could be a 20-hour to 30-hour/week position.
