Isaac Wright originally hales from the Bangor area.  In 2009 he moved to Belfast because he could not keep his dog, Bugsy, where he was living. Wright visited Belfast with musician Eric Green for whom he designed the Eric Green Party logo and hats. People’s curiosity for the artist’s work began with these designs.

Issac’s creative work is varied. He has completed design work for Inner Sense in Searsport and has worked as a tattoo designer at Permanent Expressions in downtown Belfast. His work can be seen throughout the state: on the Downeast Fisheries Trail map, murals at 11 Central restaurant in Bangor, mural work at the Brick House in Searsport, logo and mural work for the Black Bear Micro-brew in Orono. From 2008-2013 he ink drawing were published in Tattoo Artist Magazine. Wright has done poster work for various community businesses and organizations and he created a “Bugsy, Dog of Belfast” seat for the Please, Be Seated public bench installation in Belfast.

Isaac currently does commissions in ink and watercolor and explores working with various mediums as often as he can.
