We are a MOFGA Certified organic farm, growing about 4 acres vegetables, flowers and herbs in Knox, Maine. Through careful management of soil fertility, we strive to provide our customers with the freshest and most nutrient dense produce possible. We work the land together with the help of our four Belgian and Percheron draft horses. We sell our produce through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), Farmer’s Markets in Belfast and Orono, and this year, our new farmstand here at the farm in Knox. Come by and visit our rolling hills and picnic along our shady creek that feeds into Half Moon Stream, check out our flock of Dorcet sheep, see our draft horses in action, and stop by our farm stand open Tuesdays through Saturday 2-6pm. We also have a pick your own flower garden you can come enjoy. We are just around the corner from the Frye Mountain trail system if you feel like swinging by on you way to a hike. New Beat farm is a diverse horse-powered farm growing vegetables, cut flowers and herbs in the heart of Waldo country rich agricultural community.
