The Belfast Creative Coalition is collaborating with the 52nd Bar Harbor Music Festival to bring premier classical music performances, for the second year, to the Belfast Free Library this weekend with classically-trained, world-renowned musicians.
Renowned American concert pianist Christopher Johnson at the Belfast Free Library on Friday, July 20th at 7:30 p.m. Johnson has appeared extensively in recital, on radio and TV, as soloist with orchestras, and in chamber ensembles throughout the United States, Canada, Central and South America, and Europe. The Ardelia Trio returns on Sunday, July 22 at 4:00 p.m. for the final event bringing their dynamic presence to the Gammans Room at the Belfast Free Library. Forged with a common commitment to presenting innovative and engaging interactive concerts, Janey Choi violinist, Clara Yang cellist, and Jihea Hong-Park pianist, formed the group after working together in various capacities as performing and teaching artists bringing their thoughtful, yet boldly energetic, interpretations of repertoire ranging from Baroque, through the standard Classical and Romantic genres, to today’s living composers.
