Belfast Creative Coalition (BCC) seeks an Executive Director (ED) to work part-time, 25 hours a week, to lead the organization to promote the arts and culture of Waldo County. The E.D. should be familiar with the local art and culture scene, have minimum of five years of experience in an administrative role, preferably with a non-profit organization or municipality, with at least one year experience working in an arts and cultural program.
BCC is looking for someone with excellent oral and written communication skills along with a strong background in public relations and marketing. In addition, the ability to work with and reach many different constituencies; have knowledge and affinity for public and contemporary art and culture; strong organizational skills and fundraising experience; lead a small staff and work well with the BCC board; strong Mac and PC computer skills, Google Drive and online and social marketing tools. An undergraduate degree in the arts, public administration, community development or related field is desirable. Quickbooks experience a plus.
The E.D. will be expected to participate in and coordinate fundraising efforts for the Belfast Creative Coalition, including fundraising events and growing membership and sponsorships.
The salary range is dependent on experience level.
