Belfast Friday Night Art Walk
Summer is in the air! Belfast is bustling, new restaurants and galleries are opening, so come join Belfast on June 7th, 5:30-8:00 pm, as the downtown area kicks off its first Friday Art Walk of the season. Art venues will be welcoming you with open doors, showcasing a wide variety of artworks such as sculpture, painting, photography and mixed media, often with a chance to meet the artists themselves. As always, the streets will be filled with activity of all kinds, with this Friday evening musical performances from Craig Hensley and Lincoln Blake, and Heléna Melone dancing through the town.

Featured artists include: Sandi Cirillo, Ben Hall and Karen Meisenheimer. Maine Farmland Trust Gallery has completed its renovations and now boasts an additional second floor of art; the gallery opens its “Summer Stable Show” June 7th with a festive reception. Just around the corner, High Street Gallery will be exhibiting “Three Women, Three Visions”, celebrating the paintings of Susan Tobey White, Sheep Jones and Julie Cyr. Be sure not to miss the opening for the Richard Norton Invitational Exhibit the following Friday, June 14th with a reception from 5 to 7 pm at Waterfall Arts! It will be up all summer, until their next opening in September.
Belfast welcomes all to take part in this exciting opportunity to visit the galleries and studios that give rise to the fruitful art culture of this beautiful town. This summer Belfast will be hosting Art Walks with performers the first Friday of every month from June to October, and galleries will be open every Friday evening throughout the summer time.
