This year the artists and craftspeople of Belfast Harbor Artisans will be turning your patronage into a gift of warmth for Waldo County residents in need. From Nov. 28th through Dec. 22 we will be raffling off a number of our local, hand-made works, the proceeds of which will help support the Waldo County Interfaith Fuel Fund, a local charity providing heating fuel assistance to those most in need during our Maine winters. Artists are often among those who struggle to make ends meet, so we are pleased to help out others in our community who are faced with critical challenges of food and fuel.
Being a part of Belfast, Waldo County, the members of Belfast Harbor Artisans Cooperative are especially grateful that we belong to a community that actively works to sustain local small businesses, farmers, musicians, poets, actors, crafts people and other entrepreneurs. Please stop by and check out the wonderful work of your local artists and craftspeople, and enjoy the holiday spirit of all downtown Belfast shops.
