Two Islands – J.T. Strutz

​The landscapes and seascape along the Parrsboro Shore are truly spectacular! William Rogers, one of Canada’s most accomplished Plein Air artists knows this region very well.  His paintings have captured the beauty and the soul of these land/seascapes, and now you have the opportunity to do the same.

This workshop will focus on simplification of the landscape into a paintable subject. Topics covered will include composition/design, colour and the application of colour.

William Rogers is a Nova Scotia artist working in oil, watercolour, and printmaking. Bill is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC) and current Past President. He is also a signature member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA) and the Société Canadienne de l’Aquarelle (SCA).

His award winning work has been shown by major watercolor societies in Canada and the USA.  Plein Air Events include: Carmel Art Festival in Carmel CA, Plein Air Easton in Easton MD, Plein Air at Calloway Gardens GA, Easels in Frederick, Mountain Maryland Plein Air, Paint Annapolis MD, and En Plein Air Texas.
