Showing of ‘La La Land’ for artists, musicians, thespians, etc., at the Colonial Theater, February 6

A Great Day in Harlem with the glitterati of the jazz scene……
We cannot hope to match this photograph with you here in Belfast  but our intention is to gather as many musicians, back stage hands, actors, dancers, singers, performers, musicians, and various other artistic live performance artists to share La La Land together. (7 Golden Globe awards + 14 Academy Award nominations) The story is about a jazz musician and an actor trying to find their way in their fields. It’s a struggle, always,  for every artist…. and speaks to all who have stepped onto a stage, picked up an instrument, raised their voice, or built a set.  We do need your help and we are asking for it….
1. Please send this to people you know in the arts. We cannot extend a personal invite to everyone as we do not know them but you do so please share this and spread the word.
2. PLEASE RSVP (very important) as we only have so much room mike@pilut.com.
3. Bring a friend: one only please. The date is Monday evening February 6 at 6:30. The show is free. Who knows? Maybe we’ll take a picture.  (PS if you have already RSVPed no need to do it again)
From La La land “Audition” excerpted lyrics:
Here’s to the ones who dream …..Foolish, as they may seem
Here’s to the hearts that ache ……Here’s to the mess we make
She told me: A bit of madness is key to give us new colors to see
Who knows where it will lead us? And that’s why they need us
So bring on the rebels, the ripples from pebbles, the painters, and poets, and plays …
And here’s to the fools who dream….. Crazy, as they may seem
