Kris Engman and Susan Guthrie will lead Photoshop for Artists and Creatives, an intensive three day class designed to expand the ability to work digitally on photography or color issues. The class meets Friday, Saturday and Sunday Dec 2, 3 and 4 from 9 to 4 each day.
On Saturday, December 10, Helene Melone holds silk ornament workshop. She’ll teach how to use dye resist and silk paints to make beautiful snowflake designs on silk. These make wonderful seasonal ornaments for trees or windows, and are great gifts. The workshop meets from 11 am to 3 pm and is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
Linda Stec leads a Paint Your Own Pottery workshop on Saturday December 10 from 9 to noon. This workshop is appropriate for all ages and the focus will be on holiday gifts and decorative items. Mugs, tiles, boxes, bowls and more are ready for decoration and after firing, they’ll be ready for pick up in time for the holidays.
On Saturday, December 17, Abbie Read will give instruction in paste paper painting and simple bookbinding from 10 until 4. She’s generously donating her instruction time; the only cost will be for materials. Register ahead to reserve your spot in this popular workshop.
